Saturday 1st Sept Workshop/Social at Brotherhood Hall
Clacton on Sea Essex

                                                                                               REPORT

The Brotherhood Hall only comfortably holds about 100 (for Linedancing) so we soon sold out for this event.
We had groups from London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and our class members filled the room for the day.

The Instructors for the afternoon workshop were Michelle Risley from the Peace Train Club in St Albans and Melissa Hawkes from the Monterey Club in Diss and us Mark & Jan Caley.

                                 
We had a super afternoon and the evening social was terrific with a brilliant atmosphere. A real mix of dances requested and played throughout the day.

Dances taught through the afternoon were:-

DAYLIGHT - Mark & Jan Caley - a new one from us, an easy improver level (No
tags) to upbeat track by Belle Lawrence called Bad Day which is a fast mix
of David Pewters hit track.

All the dances went well and were all danced during the evening social to a full floor.
A big thanks to Michelle and Melissa for doing a great job on the day.
Half way through the evening Jan and I did a short fun 'Evolution of Dance' demo which seemed to go down rather well. LOL which was followed by the Raffle which raised £143 for the R.N.L.I.
