Caley's Country Dance Club
Saturday 1st Sept Workshop/Social at Brotherhood
Hall
Clacton on Sea Essex
REPORT
The Brotherhood Hall only comfortably holds about 100 (for Linedancing) so we
soon sold out for this event.
We had groups from London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and our class members
filled the room for the day.
The Instructors for the afternoon workshop were Michelle
Risley from the Peace Train Club in St Albans and Melissa Hawkes from
the Monterey Club in Diss and us Mark & Jan Caley.
We had a super afternoon and the evening social was terrific with a brilliant
atmosphere. A real mix of dances requested and played throughout the day.

A big thanks to Michelle and Melissa for doing a great job on the day.
Half way through the evening Jan and I did a short fun 'Evolution of Dance' demo
which seemed to go down rather well. LOL which was followed by the Raffle which
raised £143 for the R.N.L.I.
A big thanks to our club members for helping and supporting us on the day with
special thanks to Theresa for all your help all day.
